A trailblazer who saw the potential of digital and opportunities it offered for advertising, Ian founded Deep Focus in 2002. The award-winning global agency is lauded for its expertise and excellence in digitally-led creative execution and media strategy, innovative agency operational models and consumer insights that drive engaging, value-driven experiences. Ian previously served as Vice President of New Media at Disney’s Miramax Films and digital creative and media-buying pioneer i-Traffic, which was ultimately acquired by Agency.com.
Ian currently sits on the executive board of the Social Media Advertising Consortium and the Global Advisory Board of Global Social Media Week. In 2007, he was named an Advertising Age Media Maven and in 2009, he was included on the list of Adweek’s Young Ones. Recognized by the Shorty Awards as Best CEO with a Social Media Presence, Ian is known for his unique perspective on everything from new technology and shifts in consumer culture and media consumption to traditional marketing and advertising.
