As the industry's first Chief Invention Officer, Taylor drives invention into every corner of Horizon, nurturing a forward thinking mindset and igniting revolutionary thinking throughout the agency. Taylor makes it possible for invention to live on past the ideation phase, allowing great ideas to come to fruition for both our clients and employees.
In Taylor’s previous role as SVP of Social Media Strategy, he conceived of Horizon Media’s presence in the area of social media and helped to evolve the agency’s Social Media & Relationship Marketing group from a single person to 30 social media experts across four divisions of "Intelligence," “Strategy,” “Paid Media” and “Projects and Programs.”
Taylor has met the on-going debate of “social media measurement” head-on by building out proprietary tools that allow marketers to consistently compare results across all digital channels. His clients include Capital One, GEICO, Unify, Little Caesars, Crown Imports, A&E, History, Lifetime, WhiteWave, and Burger King.
Prior to digital marketing, Taylor worked in the management consulting industry. There, he partnered with client teams to increase process and workforce efficiencies while always ensuring the quality of their final product. Taylor’s previous client experience includes Bayer, Solutia, Akzo Nobel, Hercules, Novell, United Water and Cap Gemini Ernst & Young.
