As FCB’s digital and immersive technology prognosticator, Global Head of Innovation Kris Hoet leads by example. Whether pinning the best cycling kits for Pinterest users or starting a digital newsletter to investigate platforms, Hoet immerses himself in all media before recommending them to clients. “I’ve been a client longer than an agency man,” says the Belgian native. “I know what clients need.” Helping marketers navigate and dominate the 3.0 communications era has led to awards and global speaking engagements on TED stages in Liège to Cannes. Hoet is currently enthralled by AR and voice tech and is working to create industry firsts for network clients. Curator of the Art Directors Club of Europe Festival for the past two years, Hoet was managing partner of digital and innovation at Duval Guillaume in Belgium from 2009 to 2015. The former EMEA marketing manager at Microsoft finds time to mountain bike and take one of his classic cars for a ride to boost inspiration.
